Giving at Grandview Christian Center is simple and secure

The simple answer is we believe everything we have comes from God in the first place. We give because we believe God has entrusted us to be leaders for hope in our church and our community.

God Blesses Those Who Give

God has divinely conditioned His blessings to us on our generosity.

As you give, we speak these blessings over your life based on God's Word & Promise:

Malachi 3:10-12

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, (where you are being fed, your local Church) so that there may be food (sustenance) in My house (Church), and test Me now in this,” (when we give, it is an act of Faith) says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it. (Promise to Bless us in an incredible way) 11 Then I will rebuke the devourer (insects, plague, sickness, the devil) for your sake and he will not destroy the fruits of the ground, nor will your vine in the field drop its grapes [before harvest],” says the Lord of hosts. (God will prosper the labor and work that we do) 12 “All nations shall call you happy and blessed, for you shall be a land of delight,” says the Lord of hosts. (God gives us Favor!)

This is what we pray over all the tithes and offerings that we get here at Grandview.

What does "tithe" mean?

The Bible teaches that a guideline for giving is called the tithe (Leviticus 27:30). That is giving 10% of what we earn back to God.

What does "offering" mean?

An offering is a gift given to a specific need above and beyond our tithe.

What the Bible teaches

Giving acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have (James 1:17).

Giving reflects our trust that God will provide for us (Matthew 6:19-24).

Giving allows us to be active participants in God's work on earth (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
