June 8, 2025, thank you for joining us What if God’s greatest blessings come from God’s greatest breakings? Part 3 this Sunday

20 days of Praying God's Word

Devotional

Hey Church,

Thank you for signing up to get your daily prayers. Here is my goal each day:

1-    Send you a scripture

2-    Use that scripture to make it your own

3-    Pray that scripture into existence in your life or situation

4-    I will send a ‘starter’ prayer to help you along. But use this time to pray your own prayer

5-    Expect a dramatic change in your life. Remember what I always say: “what we do in the natural will always affect the supernatural”

You speaking and praying this way will impact your life and your situation in a positive way....keep a look out for that.

6-    Do it consistently, try not to miss a day. I have tried to make them short and easy, will not take you more than a few minutes a day to do this.

7-    Come to Church. Join us every Sunday at Grandview as we pray together as a community.

DAY 1

Today we celebrate the first day that God is going to do something incredible in your life and it is a good time to start our Prayer devotional and reflect on our lives

Psalm 51

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness;

According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my wickedness and guilt

and cleanse me from my sin.

(Prayer) Heavenly Father, during this time of reflection I remember how you lived the life I ought to have lived. You showed us how to resist temptation during your time in the desert, and through the life you led here on earth. As this Lent season begins, remind me that I am but dust. I can do nothing without you. Help me to see the world through the eyes of those in the first Lent season, who awaited a Savior and awaited new life through you. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross, and as I refrain from [fill in the blank, for what you choose to give up for Lent] help me to use that time I would spend on [fill in the blank item] to pray, reflect, and to be GRATFUL always, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
